Filipino Cuisine is known all over the world due to dishes such as Sinigang, Adobo, Lechon, Halo-Halo and a whole lot more tasty fist-raising worthy Filipino food. Since the cuisine is so popular among other countries, a lot of overseas Filipinos saw it as an opportunity to further introduce the cuisine to more cultures, while earning extra bucks on the side by opening their own restaurants!

A great example of this would be in San Diego, as numerous Filipino-owned restaurants have been springing up during the past couple of years. With that being said, let us talk about some of the many restaurants in San Diego that are continuously raising the Philippine flag up high.

Starfish FIlipino Eatery

Located on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard in Ocean Beach, Starfish Filipino Eatery brings the flavor of the Philippines in a modern contemporary way. They serve Halabos Hipon Bawang, Special Lumpia, Lechon Kawali, Pancit Bihon, and other Filipino classics. While their dishes may be the same offerings of other Filipino restaurants, fresh ingredients are what they say that separates them from the rest.
