Anime enthusiasts and other attendees were thrilled with the announcement that some of their favorite anime would be available on Crunchyroll platforms during the 6th Annual Crunchyroll Expo, which took place on August 6, 2022, in San Jose, California.
Crunchyroll Expo is a yearly event that features one-of-a-kind panels, exclusive merchandise, and world premieres of anime and related media.
According to the announcement, beginning August 11 through October 30, anime fans will be able to see movies launching on Crunchyroll every Thursday.
Josee, the Tiger, and the Fish, The Stranger by the Shore, and Human Lost will air on August 11. These will be followed by AKIRA and Your Name on August 18. Meanwhile, Wolf Children, The Boy and the Beast, and Sing a Bit of Harmony are set to air on August 25.
The 2022 Crunchyroll Expo occurred both in person and online via streaming on August 5-7, 2022, with a digital replay available until last August 9, 2022.
